Mission Briefing: Assemble at Maroochy River, our designated airbase, where your pilot doubles as your CO (Commanding Officer). Feel the power as you achieve lift-off, then set course for Mooloolaba harbour. Once a pivotal point in Australia's defensive line during WWII, this bustling locale is now a testament to peace and vibrancy.

Dreamtime Echoes: The canvas below you also bears the softer, more ancient brushstrokes of the Gubbi Gubbi people’s Dreamtime narratives. The waters and islands you pass over have their own stories to tell, embedded in the spirituality of the land.

Objective Caloundra: Advance toward Caloundra, where Australian troops once staged maneuvers and drills. Now, the beaches stand as tranquil guardians over clear, peaceful waters. It's a striking contrast that magnifies the region’s inherent beauty.

Final Leg: Your return flight offers moments for reflection as you pass over landscapes that have swapped barbed wire barriers for sun-kissed beaches. Nature has reclaimed its territory, yet the imprints of military fortitude and Dreamtime lore subtly persist.

Mission Culmination: Navigate back to Maroochy River for a strategic water landing. Your sortie is complete, and you’re left with a layered understanding of the Sunshine Coast—a narrative quilt of military history, Dreamtime spirituality, and awe-inspiring landscapes.

Mission Specs: Ensure your squad’s combined weight is below the operational limit of 200kg. You’ll be in the field for approximately 35-40 minutes, suitable for two to three operatives.

Limitations

Single Passengers. The Sunshine Coast Adventure requires a minimum of 2 fares per flight, however, you are welcome to purchase a voucher for one person as long as your recipient understands that 2 fares are required for that flight. Your recipient can either find a friend or family member to purchase the other seat OR Paradise Seaplanes can match them with another passenger who has the same flight voucher. Passenger Weight. We do ask you the passenger's weight in the shopping cart – it is ok to guess – as long as you guess on the heavy side - we won't tell! 

Passengers: The Wilga Warbird can take a maximum of 3 passengers. A flight requires a minimum of 2 passengers. Ask us about single passengers or large groups. 
Weight Limits: Correct passenger weights must be included at time of flight. Total combined passenger weight is strictly limited to 200kg.
Children fly at adult fare, must have their own seat, should be approx 15kg and able to wear and operate our life vest.
Disabled access is very limited. Ask us how we can help.

We recommend DOORS OFF for these shorter flights only. (Up to 30 minutes is great - It is very windy with the doors off!!)
