The Experience: 

Embark on our “Noosa Tactical Flight" an aerial reconnaissance mission that melds the Sunshine Coast's awe-inspiring natural landscapes with layers of both Indigenous and military history.

Mission Briefing: Assemble at Maroochy River Airbase for departure. Upon lift-off, feel the aquatic runway fade as you ascend toward the heavens, tracking northwards for a strategic flyover of Mudjimba Island.

Objective Mt Coolum: Soar along the coastline, setting sights on the venerable Mt. Coolum, a natural landmark steeped in Dreamtime lore as Ninderry Mountain's adversary. Legend has it that the mountains were once human, their eternal feud shaping the landscape you see today.

Military Intel: As you traverse these skies, bear in mind that Sunshine Beach once served as a military training ground. It was such a key location that Japanese reconnaissance once scouted it for an airstrip, contemplating it as a potential linchpin in a grander strategy.

Objective Noosa River: Proceed over Noosa National Park, a lush paradise that transitions you from the ocean's edge to hinterland tranquility, before conducting an aerial sweep over the ethereal Noosa River—unchanged and preserved through millennia.

Exfil Route: Begin your return flight over the placid Lake Weyba, once a crucial territory in Indigenous stories about Bunyip, the water spirit. Pass expansive sugar cane fields and conduct your final flyby of the stoic Mt Ninderry.

Mission Culmination: Execute a precise water landing at Maroochy River Airbase. The mission clock is set at 45-50 minutes. Reconnaissance is restricted to a squad of two to three operatives with a combined weight limit of 200kg.

Limitations

Single Passengers. The Noosa River Adventure requires a minimum of 2 fares per flight, however, you are welcome to purchase a voucher for one person as long as your recipient understands that 2 fares are required for that flight. Your recipient can either find a friend or family member to purchase the other seat OR Paradise Seaplanes can match them with another passenger who has the same flight voucher. Passenger Weight. We do ask you the passenger's weight in the shopping cart – it is ok to guess – as long as you guess on the heavy side - we won't tell! 

Passengers: The Wilga Warbird can take a maximum of 3 passengers. A flight requires a minimum of 2 passengers. Ask us about single passengers or large groups. 
Weight Limits: Correct passenger weights must be included at time of flight. Total combined passenger weight is strictly limited to 200kg.
Children fly at adult fare, must have their own seat, should be approx 15kg and able to wear and operate our life vest.
Disabled access is very limited. Ask us how we can help.
